Holy shit. Just finished reading "Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince". Holy emotional rollercoaster. *Very* good book, J.K. Rowling definately knows her stuff. I have no idea how she is going to cram all that needs to be completed into the 7th book. There is a LOT left yet. Wow.
OMGOD!!! I cannot believe that she killed off Dumbledore!!!! Part of me wants to say "no way, can't be true", but I'm sure he's dead for good. Another part of me says that he needed to die so that the story could end in its own little way. But I still don't like it. He had the habit of saying funny things in serious moments, he was a fun, quirky character. And holy shit, do I want to murder Snape now. Rip his throat out. I have a theory tho--that he killed Dumbledore b/c of the Unbreakable Vow, cuz Malfoy wasn't gonna do it, & that he might end up helping Harry in the end. That would be a neat twist, altho that may just be me wanting to have *some* good come of having Dumbledore killed. & I am mad that J.K. Rowling had Ginny & Harry break up--they would have made a cute couple & provided Harry some release from all the stress he's bound to feel in the 7th book. & I'm not quite sure whether I like where J.K. Rowling keeps hinting about Ron & Hermione either. & who is this mysterious R.A.B. character who apparently discovered the Horcrux? I can't believe she's gonna introduce *another* new character in the 7th book. She keeps adding new characters all the time. OH--just thought of something---Dumbledore said that the Defense Against the Dark Arts teachers have never lasted more than 1 year--this was proved again, cuz Snape obviously can't return. & they *have* to have Hogwarts still!!! Ok....I'm gonna go to bed, nuff ranting for now, all I have to say is that the 7th book better be one hell of a book & it better come out soon!!!!!
